Aircraft Leasing Financial Accountant (External Reporting)
A market-leading aircraft leasing company is looking for an accountant to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapid-growth aircraft leasing company.
Responsibilities:
- Quarterly and annual financial statement preparation for regulatory and financier compliance. Financial statements are filed in various jurisdictions in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
- Work alongside the Tax department on the preparation of the tax returns
- Ensure the accuracy of reporting and compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Work together with the team on the implementation of the International Accounting Standards wherever applicable.
- Maintain an effective relationship with the auditors.
- Implement new accounting principles and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Preparation of quarterly management discussion and analysis and investor presentations.
- Preparation of unaudited quarterly financial statements for external financiers.
- Support the team in developing reporting systems.
- Maintain and develop systems of internal control with finance.
- Provide technical accounting support for the finance team.
- Quarterly individual legal entity reviews for all entities within the company.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or Qualified ACA accountant with 2 years relevant experience
- Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
- Previous Big 4 auditing experience
- Knowledge or experience of aircraft leasing an advantage
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements
