Aircraft Leasing Technical Manager – Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the aircraft specifications and records are uploaded to internal sy
- Assist with maintenance of knowledge database
- Review of supplied documentation in relation to maintenance reserve claims and internal processing of claims in accordance with the provisions of the lease a
- Provide technical input to lease extensions, sale documents & LOI’s
- Manage the technical delivery of transitioning aircraft to ensure compliance with agreed term
- Work to ensure timely (re)delivery of aircraft
- Perform Technical inspections at pre-purchase stages & mid-term audits
- Records review during pre-purchase, mid-term audits & at aircraft transitions
- Conduct reviews of lease agreements as part of the transaction due diligence process for acquisitions with focus on technical related provisi
Requirements
- Degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering with at least 5+ years of professional experience ideally gained in an airline in a technical services role or in a leasing company in a technical role directly related to the job functio
- Relevant industry experience and ideally a proven track record in the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft asset mana
- Excellent technical knowledge of commercial narrow body aircraf
- Experience in aircraft transition management with a leasing company, airline or MRO.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programmes, modifications, reconfiguration work and aircraft technical records.
- Self-starter, using own initiative but also a strong team player with good people skills
- Ability to travel as required in support of assigned projec
- Fluent in Chinese and English
