- Description
My client is an established aircraft leasing firm which is currently looking to recruit a Technical Director – Procurement and Reconfiguration for their Dublin based team. This position will be a 12-month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing AOG’s and aircraft coming up to redelivery to determine modifications likely to be necessary for the next lessee including cabin reconfiguration mandatory mods, jurisdictional mods (FAA to EAEA Type Cert and Vice Versa).
- Establish relationships with OEM’s and Part 21 providers to deliver the required modifications in a cost and time efficient manner to minimise aircraft time off rent.
- Work with Technical Project Mangers to establish aircraft transition budgets, liaising with the Procurement team to determine the most cost-effective solutions
- Develop the in-house developed transition budgeting tool with historic price points and data to automate the production of aircraft transition budgets
Requirements:
- Experience working in a Part 21 provider and or an OEM
- Extensive knowledge of the A320 and B737 aircraft
- B787 and/or A350 experience an advantage
- Experience in assessing AOGs
- Aircraft redelivery and cabin reconfiguration experience
- Strong aircraft deliveries and redeliveries experience
