- Description
My client is a rapid growth aircraft lessor, based in Dublin which is looking for a Head of Technical.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a global team of in-house technical professionals
- Set standards for technical aspects of aircraft deliveries, acceptance, returns, ongoing management of the asset during lease life
- Commercial negotiation of purchase/sale and leaseback transactions
- Support company activities globally, to advise on all technical and asset management related matters
- Work with other members of the senior management team to develop the business offering
- Build a network of relationships across commercial, marketing, and technical organisations
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
Requirements:
Experienced in leading a team of internal and external technical experts in a similar role within the aircraft leasing industry
- 10+ years' relevant experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline, or OEM/MRO engine management
- People management experience
- Commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation experience
- Entitled to work in Europe without restrictions
