Aircraft Leasing VP or SVP Legal
My client is a major aircraft leasing company who is looking for an experienced aircraft leasing legal counsel / VP Legal in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, negotiate and direct sales, leasing and financing transactions from letters of intent through the execution of definition documentation.
- Identify and resolve legal issues, including active management of contract compliance issues, lease defaults, lease restructurings, aircraft repossessions and associated litigation and bankruptcy matters.
- Support the General Counsel on transactions, compliance and special projects.
- Management and administration of legal information management systems and processes.
- Management and direction of external counsel.
Skills & Experience:
- Law degree, with accreditation and license to practice in a recognized jurisdiction.
- Minimum 7 years PQE.
- Extensive aviation leasing and finance experience with a law firm or from an in-house aircraft leasing company.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
